Hi all,
I would like to add a new resolution for VGA port. I have put this line to
thinstation.conf-PCMACADDRESS
XRANDR_OPTIONS="--newmode '1920x1080_60.00' 173.00 1920 2048 2248 2576 1080
1083 1088 1120 -hsync +vsync && xrandr --addmode VGA-0 1920x1080 && xrandr
--output DVI-1 --off && xrandr --output VGA-0 --mode 1920x1080 --output
DVI-0 --mode 1680x1050 --right-of VGA-0"
When i run this xrandr command on thinstation it does the job, but with the
line in config it doesn't nothing.
Is it too long? Or is needed more quote marks? Is there some log file for
debuging on thinstation?
Thanks for advice.

Hi there,
I need to do same thing, I have a problem with monitor native resolution
(2560x1440x60Hz). xrandr shows this resolution in list, but monitor shows
nothing with it. I did created new resolution from command line
(2560x1440x50Hz) and it works fine. I would need to add and activate this
resolution from thinstation.conf.

Could you, please, guide me which lines (idealy whole use_xrandr function
from thinstation.functions) you added?

Thanks in advance

NoreiT

In your thinstation.functions file find xrandr $XRANDR_OPTIONS and add
three other lines (see 1.jpg). Then set up your thinstation.conf (see
2.jpg). Output_off is optional.
